Yes, I might be loud, or contact call, or act out, because I am a Baby.

No, I absolutely do not have any manners or social skills yet, because I am a Baby.

No, I do not go home fully trained and well behaved like an adult bird, because I am a Baby.

No, I don't have a "personality" yet. I am a Baby, and I have the personality of a Baby. I care only about myself and food. I eat, cry, poop, and sleep. Because I am a BABY.

I might look all grown up when you take me home, but PLEASE remember that I'm not! I will need you to teach me, and hold me, and guide me as I grow. I will need you to reassure me when I get scared, and give me extra love when I feel needy. I need you to not yell at me when I'm too loud or when I call for you from another room because I get worried when I can't see you! I might look all grown up, but please remember
